Day 1: ARRIVE SHANGHAI
Arrive Shanghai, you are greeted and escorted to check in to your 4 star Shanghai Hotel.

Day 2: Shanghai
Sightseeing Shanghai”s highlights:
Nanjing Road or Huaihai Road “s
popular emporium, the famous Bund, Jade Buddha Temple and Shanghai Museum”s
exhibits of dynastic cultural artifacts.

Day 3: Shanghai / Zhujiajiao / Shanghai
This morning visit the picturesque water town of Zhujiajiao, known for its
winding canals, arched bridges and Ming and Qing architecture. A highlight
of your tour includes a traditional sampan ride on the canals. Return to
Shanghai for dinner. Tour ends

Day 4: Shanghai to Beijing
Fly to Beijing this morning and check into your 4 star Guangdong Hotel.
Then out to visit the ornately embellished Temple of Heaven.

Day 5: Beijing
Today”s tour introduces impressive Tian An Men Square and the Forbidden
City”s Imperial Palace, with admission to the living quarters, museum and
jewelry sections. After lunch , tour Beijing”s ancient narrow streets, known
as Hutongs, via old-fashioned pedicab. Visit a courtyard-style family
residence, and admire the city view from atop the Drum Tower Pagoda.

Day 6: Beijing
A highlight of your visit to China today: stroll along the ancient ramparts
of the renowned Great Wall. Visit a cloisonné factory and observe the skilled
artisans create intricate designs. Walk along the Sacred Way to the Ming
Tombs and Chang Ling Exhibition Hall.

Day 7: Beijing to Xian
Morning is at leisure then fly to historic Xi”an, ancient capital of China.
Check in to the Grand New World Hotel.

Day 8: Xian
View the extraordinary life-sized terracotta army, no two alike, buried for
over 2200 years; the Terre Cotta Museum, Circle Vision Movie, Bronze
Chariot, Shanxi Provincial Historical Museum and a jade carving factory.

Day 9: Fly Xi”an/Lhasa
This morning, fly to Lhasa, mountainous capital of Tibet .Check in to *Lhasa
Hotel. The rest of the day is free to adjust to the altitude , approximately 12,000 ft. above sea level.

Day 10: Lhasa
An extraordinary day of sightseeing shows Norbulingkha, summer palace, built
by the seventh Dalai Lama in the 18th century. Then visit Drepung Monastery,
tiered against a mountain in traditional Tibetan style, once home to more
than 10,000 Lamas.

Day 11: Lhasa
You will not soon forget the spectacular architecture at the world-famous
Potala Palace. Former living quarters of the Dalai Lama, its massive 1,000
room structure towers over this mountain city. Continue on to visit the
famous Barkhor Market where you may shop for Tibetan items. See one of
Tibet”s holiest shrines, revered 7th century Jokhang Temple, where pilgrims
come to worship before the statue of the Sakyamuni Buddha, lavishly
enthroned in gold. This evening, enjoy a memorable Tibetan dinner and show
where you will be welcomed with a traditional Yak Dance.

Day 12: Lhasa/Kathmandu
This morning, transfer to the airport for your onward flight to Kathmandu.
